Mike Key
Managed Services Engineer T3
Meet Mike—part tech wizard, part road warrior, and full-time all-around legend.
Originally from Northern California, Mike made his way to South Dakota early on and never looked back. After high school, he jumped straight into the Air Force and spent nine years as a Munitions Systems Specialist (yes, he literally worked with bombs—no big deal). His service took him from Western England to Ellsworth AFB, proving he can handle high stakes on a global scale.
After the military, Mike traded the runway for the highway, spending 16 years as a truck driver hauling everything from U.S. mail to gasoline. And because he’s never one to sit still, he hit the books part-time at National American University—while still behind the wheel.
Eventually, his path shifted into IT, where he spent two years learning the ropes at a local company before becoming the IT manager at Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort in Deadwood. Five years of keeping a casino’s tech running smoothly? Let’s just say he’s got nerves of steel. Now, we’re lucky to have him bringing his deep experience and cool-under-pressure energy to LinkTech.
Whether it’s data cables or diesel engines, Mike knows how to keep things running right.
